Academic painter, graphic artist and teacher He painted illustrative tools for students. He focused on landscapes, portraits and social motifs. He had a special affection for still-life paintings, especially with colourful bouquets. Before his death, he had returned to Strakonice to paint some new and disappearing motifs.
