Poet, chronicler of Strakonice, regional official Graduated from the museum school in Prague. In 1958 to 1979, he was the director of the Mid-Otava Basin Museum in Strakonice. After 1980, he was a librarian in Katowice. His poetry focuses on nature and lyrical landscapes, mostly in the south-Bohemian region. He published his works in magazines and authored several collections of poems.
