Valentin Kochan z Prachové
Man of letters, scholar Active as the regional director and head councilman of the New Town of Prague. His family adopted the suffix of "z Prachové" (of Prachová) in 1582 with his father being elected to the nobleman status. He was voted one of the 30 directors in the temporary government by the regional orders after the vice-regents were thrown out of the windows of their office during the Prague Defenestration in 1618. However, he was beheaded at the Old Town Square on 21 June 1621 along with other Czech lords.
