Professor at the secondary school of Strakonice, cultural worker and publicist. Was the chief initiator of the 25th and the 50th founding anniversary of the secondary school, proofreading both almanacs published on this occasion. As an agent of the museum society of the Dyk homeland museum, he participated in building new expositions at the castle of Strakonice. He has organized tens of courses, written articles about Strakonice for the People's Papers or the magazine Venkov.
