House No. 106 in Palackého Square

Burgher House No. 106 was in the place of an older building destroyed by fire in 1859. The house was owned by fez manufacturers, which is likely reflected in the facade decorations, which are vaguely reminiscent of the Orient, where most local produce was exported. The building went through a number of reconstructions in the 20th century.
A noteworthy element is the plaque of Jan the Elder Hodějovsky of Hodějov and Řepice from 1555, set in the entrance. The plaque includes the Hodějovsky coat of arms (carp) together with a Latin inscription reading: "Jan Starssy z Hodieowa a na Rzepicy mystosudy kralow Czeského 1555." (translated: "Jan the Elder of Hodějov and Řepice, Czech Kingdom's Magistrate 1555.")
