Bedřich Dubský
Teacher, archeologist Since 1911 he had devoted his time to archeological research, mostly within the region of Strakonicko. He was mostly focused on primeval age and early middle age archeology. He cooperated with the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences and the National Museum in Prague. He had concluded the results of his research, along with his knowledge of the primeval inhabitation of the region, in his work Pravěk jižních Čech. His greatest discoveries include the Roman-provincial burial ground (450 graves) dating back to the 2nd to 6th centuries AD and a contemporary settlement at Přešťovice in the region of Strakonicko.
